EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION, RESEARCH, AND EVALUATION

The Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC) is a unit of the Division of Lifetime Learning within the Office of the Provost at Georgia Tech. Since 1991, CEISMC has served as the primary connection point between Georgia Tech faculty and students and the preK-12 STEM education community.

CEISMC HOSTS FIRST COHORT OF STEM EDUCATORS' NETWORK

The Georgia Tech initiative's goal is to give the educators the tools & information to help prepare their community youth to become college and career ready.

Georgia Tech’s CEISMC and STEM@GTRI have launched a pilot program for rural Georgia school districts that provides high schoolers with access to interactive modules in areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
In late February, staff from the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC) hosted back-to-back on-campus field trips at Georgia Tech for the students involved in a weekly afterschool program of the REMEZCLA project.
Georgia AIM will support a total of nine inter-related projects throughout the state and is designed to increase job and wage opportunities in distressed and rural communities and among historically underrepresented and underserved people.
On March 15, student inventors from across the state gathered on Georgia Tech's campus to participate in the K-12 InVenture Prize State Finals.
